UNA ULLA

ジャズ、インディーポップロック、ラトビアトラッド。 生まれはラトビア、ヴァイノアデという小さな村出身。 ミュージシャンの一家で生まれる。2010 年北海道に渡日。 2012,2013 年 New York Jazz Expressway とジョイントコンサー トを行う。2013 年ホームズスタジアム神戸で開催されたキリン チャレンジカップ 2013 のラトビア代表戦で、ラトビア国歌を独 唱。2014 年より活動拠点を神戸に移し、音楽活動を広げている。

Una Ulla (Una Volkova)
Jazz and indie-pop-rock artist, singer songwriter from Latvia.
Born in a small Latvian village to a musical family. Studied violin and vocals since early childhood. In 2010, came to work for a local government in Hokkaido. 2012, 2013 joint concerts with New York Jazz Expressway. In 2013, KIRIN Challenge Cup in Kobe, sang the Latvian national anthem in a friendship
game between Japanese and Latvia national football teams.
In 2014, moved to Kobe and is performing a wide range of music as well as organizing events to introduce Baltic states, Latvia, its culture and music to Japan.

新原 草太 (にいはら そうた) コンテンホラリーキタリスト / コンホーサー

2007 年にスウェーテンへ留学、シャス/インフロウィ セーションを中心に学ふ。スウェー テンの自然とそこから 生まれた音楽に感銘を受け、その後フリーランスミューシ シャン として活動する中て、その音色をうまく自身のスタ イルに取り込んている。2014 年、現 在も伝統か色濃 く残るターラナ地方と日本とを結ふハント「HAON 葉 音」を結成し、オ リシナルの他、両国の伝統的なメロティーを アレンシした楽曲を発表している。同年に はターラナから (シリアン−日本国際交流基金)助成を得ている。

Souta Niihara

Contemporary Guitarist / Composer
In 2007 Souta moved to Sweden for studying Jazz and Improvisation. He was inspired a lot by the nature of art and the music there which is one of the important element in his music today.
In 2014 he made a band HAON(葉音) which is a musical collaboration between the Swedish saxophonist and composer Björn Arkö and Niihara. Their music is a unique and contemporary mix of Arkö ́s and Niihara ́s influenced: jazz and improvisation-based music and traditional music from Dalarna(Sweden) and Japan. Same year they have gotten a scholarship from Dalarna community(Siljan-Japan stiftelsen).
