『これがピンクウォッシュ！ シアトルの闘い』
イスラエルのピンクウォッシングについてのドキュメンタリー上映会を開催します。

パレスチナの石鹸屋さん by スイカハウス、抵抗のかけら @teikounokakera さんによるグッズ販売も行います。
イスラエル政府は、パレスチナの土地を占領し虐殺行為を行っている事実を覆い隠すために「LGBTQフレンドリー」というイメージを広報しています。
日本でも、東京レインボープライドが2013年から2019年の7年間にわたりイスラエル大使館からの出資を受けています。
この『ピンクウォッシング』に抗うため、シアトルでたたかった人々がいました。
本当の”権利”、”解放”とはなんなのか、いまいちど考えませんか。
2023年10月7日、ガザ侵攻が始まってから1年。パレスチナの土地を占領し、イスラエルが”建国”されてから76年。何十万、何百万もの命、夢、生活、権利が奪われ続けています。
わたしたちが普通の生活を送るとき──テレビの中ではひっきりなしにやたらと楽しそうな一大イベントが起こっていて、毎年楽しみにしているマクドの月見バーガーを食べてジャンキーな喜びを得る、ストーリーズで凄惨な動画をシェアしている人がいるけど今はしんどいからとりあえずスワイプして無視する──、その裏で起こっていることを考え、話し続けましょう。
映画のあとにはお話し会も行う予定です。ピンクウォッシングのこと、最近考えていること、アクションのアイデアなどを共有するラフなお話し会です。

ガザ地区で避難生活を続けるAliaさんと料理家の宍倉滋さんが連絡を取り合って作成したレシピ本より。

What does it mean to have “rights” or to fight for “liberation”?
The Israeli government promotes an image of being “LGBTQ friendly” to cover up the fact that it is occupying Palestinian land and committing genocide.
Its influence even extends to Japan, where the Israeli Embassy funded Tokyo Rainbow Pride for seven years from 2013 to 2019.
Today’s documentary is about the people who fought against this “pinkwashing” in Seattle.
It will be one year since the invasion of Gaza began on October 7th, 2023, and 76 years since the occupation of Palestine and the “establishment” of the State of Israel. Hundreds of thousands of lives, dreams, livelihoods, and rights have been taken away.
Meanwhile, fun-filled events are broadcast incessantly on TV as people tuck into McDonald’s seasonal Tsukimi burgers to momentarily satisfy their cravings, ignoring the countless horrific videos shared on their friends’ Instagram Stories. As we go about our daily lives, it’s important not to lose sight of what’s happening behind the scenes and keep raising our voices.
After the documentary, we will have an informal session where we can share and talk about pinkwashing, our recent thoughts, future action ideas, etc.
